We are seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Benefits Manager who desires a dynamic role in a successful and fast growing company. This position is well suited for a detail oriented individual, experienced in both people and process management, who enjoys being the subject matter expert on benefit-related matters.

A Day In the Life of the Benefits Manager:
•The primary focus is to insure the delivery of cost-effective health and retirement benefits for approximately 6,000 active employees in the U.S., which includes design, day to day management and ongoing improvement of the company’s health, welfare and retirement plans. From conducting RFP’s to answering employee calls, you are closely involved with all aspects of benefits and HR. This role manages costs and budgets related to all vendor contracts, and involves benefits experience in a self funded health plan environment.
•If you enjoy company growth, acquisitions are a part of the WCI culture. You will be closely involved with the due diligence process in understanding and integrating benefits plans prior to close. Often you will be present at the new site to perform enrollment meetings for benefits. You will work with attorneys during discovery and build the project plan for integrating the new site, coordinating with executive management, HR, Business Development and Payroll.
•Very strong technical ability is key to manage HRIS reporting function, including compliance reporting such as EEO-1 and Vets 100 and 100A reports, managing carrier feeds, DOT tracking, employee relations reporting and ad hoc reporting. You will be closely involved with integrating systems for future projects and HR solutions including those involved in acquisitions. This also includes data reconciliation periodically for benefits eligibility, invoices and HIPAA compliance.
•You will utilize your strategic and analytical skills, as you evaluate benefits options and costs with benefits partners, and present recommendations to the Executive Management team.
•Your strong employee management skills will come into play as you oversee the daily activities of 4 – 5 benefits department team members; interview and select applicants, appraise performance; recommend salary increases and other personnel status changes; provide feedback and guide the overall direction and priorities of the benefits team.
•You are required to learn and stay on top of all federal, state and local benefits compliance requirements, and changing laws and regulations related to position; advise management on needed actions to maintain or improve compliance.
•Your building of relationships is critical in managing contracts with all benefits services providers, brokers, consultants and attorneys.
•Strong written and verbal communication is key, as you will develop all benefits communication materials; new hire, acquisition, open enrollment and general communication regarding the value of benefits.
•Solid presentation skills to Executive Management will be utilized as you develop and finalize payments under an annual management bonus program; administer and report results of an annual employee survey of leadership effectiveness; and lead new projects and recommend strategic initiatives for Management review, as assigned.

What you Have to Have:
•Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum of 5 years of medium to large company benefits management experience.
•Excellent customer service, written, verbal and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
•Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint and ability to learn and use company specialized applications such as HRIS and Payroll.
•Travel to company locations and other meetings as required (less than 20% travel.)
