Inspection Oilfield Services (IOS) is a leading independent inspection and value-added service provider for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and drill tools with numerous fixed service locations and mobile operations serving all of the major oil and natural gas producing regions in the contiguous United States.

We are hiring an HR Generalist in our Houston office located at Beltway 8 & Interstate 45. The HR Generalist will have responsibilites as follows:

• Administration of benefit plans such as health, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, HSA, ect
• Process and reconcile all benefits billings
• Timely processing of benefits enrollments, terminations and change forms
• Document and input benefit deductions/changes
• Assist with all benefit inquiries and resolve issues
• Manage COBRA administration through a third-party vendor
• Promote an environment of positive employee relations, maintaining confidentiality while establishing trust and credibility
• Lead, direct, coach and support managers concerning employee relations and performance management
• Create, implement and administer human resource policies and procedures
• Process, track and administer LOA and FMLA
• Maintain personnel files and records
• Assist with recruiting efforts as needed.
• Special assignments and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years HR Generalist experience
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and successfully prioritize concurrent projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be advanced in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
• Must possess a high degree of professionalism and understanding of customer service
• Demonstrated experience in Human Resources and the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse group of team members
• Ability to evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Oil & Gas industry experience a plus
