Job description:
Provide training to new and current employees in a fast paced, evolving business, delivering a competitive advantage to the firm through organizational development. Support the productivity of the office through assessing knowledge gaps, facilitating training classes, efficient monitoring and tracking of training.

*Manage a scalable, replicable training program
*Design, write, implement, and manage technical training curriculum
*Update curriculum for market trends, product and regulatory changes
*Write, provide, schedule, and maintain certification of Continuing Education classes
*Coordinate training by individual employee as well as teams
*Create and oversee all training materials for Ascende University, Ascende Grad School, and other training classes needed for the various practice areas
*Manage daily workload of Ascende University, Ascende Grad School, and any other ongoing Ascende Training Programs
*Work closely with the Analyst Managing Director to map out training plans for new Analysts
*Coordinate priorities and schedule training workload with the Analyst Managing Director in order to meet organizational needs
*Balance learning with leveraging consistency within client work
*Ensure that trainees have a consistent base of product and service knowledge, if applicable
*Assimilate new Analysts into the Ascende culture and processes
*Evaluate trainees after conclusion of training and identify additional areas of need if applicable
*Obtain and maintain working understanding of all Ascende services and deliverables
*Team closely with business leaders to ensure development needs are met with new and existing employees
*Maintain training calendar
*Maintain on-line reference resources
*Maintain training database
*Schedule and facilitate ad hoc training
*Support process documentation and organizational development initiatives
*Identify opportunities for process and technical improvement
*Recommend new approaches and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of services performed
*Perform special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Minimum Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational training or business experience
*5 years training experience which includes writing and delivering training materials
*5 years benefits experience preferred
*CPLP preferred

*Microsoft Office Suite experience
*Excellent written/verbal communication skills
*Able to effectively interface with internal and external customers
*Able to handle confidential information with maximum discretion
*Able to understand business principles and apply them accordingly
*Able to work independently and on a team within a fast-paced environment
*Demonstrate good judgment while managing projects, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines with a sense of urgency
